“Square Windows”
Located in Noida, (Sector 61,Greater Delhi, India) this hospital houses 100 beds.
The hospital was designed primarily with consideration to daylight. The white front facade has multiple square windows at different levels that add a mosaic curiosity to the appearance. At the entrance, a double height atrium with an origami black kadappa stone can be seen. It acts both as an art installation and a reception.
The building lobby features grey kota stone, used to emphasise the bright and airy overall feel of the space. To connect the inside and outside spaces, several balconies were designed. A courtyard further connects the inside and outside environments.
